Sandra Hamilton is Canada’s First Social MBA and a Public Sector Social Procurement Advisor. Hamilton works with all three levels of government and with public owners to modernize procurement processes and achieve more social value through public sector supply chains.

She is the former Business Manager to Vancouver 2010 Olympics CEO John Furlong and has designed both British Columbia’s & Alberta’s first Social Procurement Frameworks.

Hamilton is a speaker and Canadian nominee to address the World Trade Organization (WTO) Symposium on Sustainable Government Procurement in Geneva in February. 
In March, Hamilton will be speaking on the topic of Social Procurement at the 2017 Canadian Construction Conference in Mexico.

Sandra Hamilton is no stranger to guiding and inspiring organisations through periods of intense transition. As a Business Manager she has managed the transitions, reputations and new businesses of clients such as VANOC CEO John Furlong and Olympic rower Silken Laumann. She is very comfortable developing big visions and new ideas. 

Sandra is a thought provocateur, well known for her innovative, strategic thinking and ability to connect people to opportunity. She is passionate about developing business strategies to drive social change and rural economic development . Inspired by nature, Sandra lives and works from her home on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

Formerly Director of Marketing at The Vancouver Sun, Owner/Publisher of BC Woman Magazine, Business Manager to Olympic medal rower Silken Laumann, Communications Consultant to the 2010 bid committee, Vice President of Silken’s Active Kids Movement and Sales Manager at Vancouver Magazine, Sandra Hamilton brings over 25 years of sales & marketing experience to her clients. Recently Hamilton created The Pacific Kiss Oyster brand and provided International Marketing advice to The British Columbia Shellfish Industry.
